The United States Mint produces the American Buffalo, a coin made entirely of bullion. Introduced in 2006, this was the first pure bullion coin offered to the public from the US Mint. Since then, it has seen an increase in popularity and is currently seen as a complement to the American Gold Eagle bullion coin on a global scale.
